Tbilisi Silk Road Forum 2025: Invest in Connectivity – Grow in Stability

On 22–23 October 2025, Tbilisi will host the 5th edition of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum (TSRF2025) under the theme “Invest in Connectivity – Grow in Stability.” This biennial event has become Georgia’s flagship international platform, bringing together over 2,000 delegates from more than 60 countries, including heads of state, ministers, global CEOs, international organisations, and thought leaders.
A Global Platform for Dialogue and Action
Launched in 2015, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has evolved into one of the leading international gatherings on connectivity, trade, transport, energy, and the digital economy. Its mission is clear: to strengthen East–West cooperation and foster practical solutions for regional and global connectivity challenges.
At TSRF2023, for example, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan agreed to create a joint railway company to boost the Middle Corridor, demonstrating how the Forum delivers concrete outcomes.
Why Georgia?
Georgia’s geostrategic location makes it a natural bridge between Europe and Asia. With its extensive network of free trade agreements (EU, China, UK, Turkey, EFTA, UAE, CIS), robust infrastructure investments, and projects such as the Black Sea submarine electricity and fibre-optic cables, Georgia is positioning itself as a secure and dynamic hub for trade, energy, and digital connectivity.
As EBRD Vice President Alain Pilloux highlighted, Georgia is a “second-wave reforms leader… [whose] progressive approach to trade is more than welcoming.”
Luxembourg and Georgia – Shared Outlook
Luxembourg, like Georgia, has successfully positioned itself as a gateway economy by leveraging its strategic location, forward-looking regulatory environment, and international networks. This makes the Luxembourg–Georgia partnership especially relevant in areas such as digital innovation, sustainable finance, logistics, and energy transition.
The Forum provides a unique opportunity to deepen these synergies and to explore new avenues for collaboration between Luxembourg’s ecosystem and Georgia’s role as a Eurasian hub.
